So, this little adventure just started with Mom Solo trying to find a cup of coffee from a local coffee shop after dropping the girls off at their concert in Newark. But, all I managed to find was a Dunkin’ Donuts on every corner, and no local shops… So, I began brainstorming other quintessential New Jersey adventures I might be able to get myself into at 7 o’clock at night. And it came to me! A Diner! Yes. So, I happened across Manny’s Diner in Clark, New Jersey. And, I must say, it was a snazzy little place. Definitely NOT…

And if you’ve heard of Gary Vee, you probably know he got his humble beginnings working in his parent’s liquor store, until he turned that into the wildly successful Wine Library. Well, folks, on a Mom Solo evening in New Jersey after I dropped the kids off at a concert in Newark, I had to check out the Wine Library for myself! Unfortunately, my camera seriously malfunctioned and stopped working while I was inside, so I missed my chance…

I’ve heard that the general public seems to have a pretty evenly divided Love/Hate Relationship with the seasonal Juniper Latte from Starbucks. We were just passing through the Trenton, New Jersey Turnpike Service Plaza when I happened to see a sign advertising what sounded pretty darned interesting to us. And, our verdict? Wow! We LOVED the fragrant, earthy flavor notes of the Juniper. It definitely tastes like Christmas in a cup of coffee!
