The Visitor Center, including exhibits, gift shop, offices and restrooms are open during the following times:
Visitor Center Hours
Monday – Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 5 pm
The Ijams grounds and trails are open every day of the year from 8 a.m. until dusk.
Tips ‘n Tricks
Admission to Ijam’s is FREE, however purchasing a membership package includes ANCA Reciprocal benefits for FREE or discounted admission to other Nature Centers around the country!
Ijams is Dog Friendly! By all means bring your favorite pooch. There is even a Pet Welcome Station near the Visitor Center, including leash holders and a doggy water fountain. For everyone’s enjoyment, they just ask that all pets keep their owners leashed at all times. Due to state and federal regulations that allow Ijams to care for exhibit hall creatures, pets are not allowed in the Visitor Center.
