A freaking amazing night, indeed, with Scott Stapp, former Creed frontman, on his solo tour; and special guests Messer and Sunflower Dead. We’re still trying to spend as much time as we can getting acquainted with Athens and North Georgia based Farmers’ Markets and Produce Markets. This morning, we hit up the Oconee Farmers’ Market in Downtown Watkinsville, Georgia in Oconee County, just outside of Athens, Georgia. It was a smaller gathering, but we enjoyed the vendors immensely. I guess produce season is slowing down, but there was a lovely selection of baked goods and prepared dinner items. Sampling a Flight at Woodchuck Cider House in Middlebury, Vermont There are almost 1,000 Cideries in the United States as of 2019. During a tour of the Woodchuck Cider House in Middlebury, Vermont, we were pleasantly surprised to learn a great deal about the history of Hard Cider in this country. National Lacrosse League Box Lacrosse Indoor lacrosse is played inside the confines of an ice hockey rink, with glass and rink boards intact. The playing surface consists of a green dieter turf carpet that is laid down over the hockey ice. The two teams combine to score a total of 25 goals on average during an NLL game. Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge In most instances, National Wildlife Refuges are going to be less developed and offer fewer amenities than units in the National Park system. However, they are GREAT options for hiking, birding, wildlife viewing, and habitat observation and appreciation. Many Refuges DO offer Visitor Centers with exhibits, area information, trail guides, and more. Often they will have Wildlife Checklists.
