UGA Baseball – Athens, Georgia – 02/23/2019

We are definitely a family of Baseball Lovers!

It is our ultimate goal to get to a home game for every MLB team and fully experience each team’s home ballpark; but we also really enjoy checking out a variety of college teams as well.

Today, we caught the University of Georgia Bulldogs taking on the University of Massachusetts Lowell River Hawks.

We have a house rule that wherever we are, we root for the Home Team. But, we do have a soft spot for Lowell, Massachusetts, and, of course, anything with the word “River” in it’s name is going to get our support….

So, even though we were decked out in our Georgia Gear, shhhh…, the voices in my head were secretly cheering for the River Hawks.

UGA pulled off the win, though, with a final score of 6-2, and they deserved it, fair and square. There were some beautiful plays, and I was proud of our Dawgs.

To learn more about the UGA Baseball program, as well as other UGA Athletics; be sure to check out Georgia Dogs for information on the University and Foley Field, as well as game schedules, player stats, and fun history!

General Admission tickets start at $5, covered seating around $8.

Lot parking was surprisingly free, and garage parking was around $5 per car.

Food, drinks, and souvenirs aren’t terribly expensive, so all in all, this is a GREAT Family Day Out while experiencing Athens, Georgia during Baseball Season!

We had a BLAST!
