We are fortunate to have such a vibrant Asian community not too terribly far from Athens!

In the Lawrenceville/Suwanee/Duluth areas of Gwinnett County, about an hour or so from the house, you can find just about any Asian flavor your heart desires!

Trillian has been wanting to try Coffee House Basso for a while, but we usually end up at Hansel and Gretel Bakery across the street.

Today, though, we thought we’d hop into Basso and see what was up!

Oh, we are SOOO glad we did!

With such an extensive menu of hot and cold drinks, there was no way we could try them all!

The Mojito Mocktails were something I’d never seen before, so at the suggestion of the friendly barista, I decided I’d give the White Grape Mojito a try.

Definitely a new favorite!

And I’ve been craving more ever since!

Alysia likes what she likes, and went with a tried and true Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca Boba. The Taro actually had a more natural taste than some of the oversweetened powdered milk teas. So, honestly, I could see this being one of our preferred Taro go-to locations.

Trillian loves the Misugaru (Korean Multigrain) Latte from Hansel and Gretel, so she thought she would see how this one from Basso would compare.

We DO absolutely love Hansel and Gretel, and that won’t change!

But, wow, Basso really holds its own!

Next time we are in Duluth, it’s going to be a tough choice deciding which place to hit up!

But, we will definitely be back to Basso SOON!

And OFTEN!

We LOVE Bubble Tea! Do You?
