While there was a bit of construction going on, the Desert View Watchtower was still a wonderful experience.
The Ancestral Puebloan petroglyphs and murals on the walls and ceilings were stunning! I could spend hours in awe, just wondering about the symbolism in these drawings; and how it represented the life and culture of the ancient peoples of the American Southwest!
