After a morning in Little Rock, and an afternoon checking out the coolest Street Art from The Unexpected Project in Fort Smith, we definitely needed a bite to eat!
It was Alysia’s birthday, and she specifically requested Mexican Food for her Birthday Lunch.
La Huerta sounded like a solid choice, and we are glad we found it!
We just grabbed a to-go order, and our food was ready quickly.
The Vegetarian Burrito in a to-go tray might not jump out at you as the most photogenic meal you can eat, but it was exceptionally savory and magnificently delicious for such a quick and unsuspecting choice!
Grilled mushrooms, yellow squash, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers; covered with cheese sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo, and guacamole; and served with rice and beans…
To this day, Trillian still talks about how much she loved this meal, and says, quite possibly, it was her favorite dining experience on the entire trip!
So, it goes to show, you never know where you’ll find awesome flavors you won’t soon forget!
And, in our opinion, La Huerta in Downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas was all of that and more!
