If you find yourself in the Macon / Warner Robins area of South Central Georgia, the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia is FREE, and open to to the public.
Two levels of indoor exhibits highlight several historical segments of World War II, the Korean War, The Gulf War, and the establishment of Robins Air Force Base itself.
And the entire property is full of aircraft of all sorts!
From airplanes and jeeps, to patches, medals, chits, bomber jackets, and other preserved items, each exhibit is loaded with informative bits and first-hand accounts of many defining moments of our nation’s military history.
I have several hundred photos to post from this museum, so I’ll probably break them down into several different albums.
This first album contains some general shots of the entrance and central exhibits.
