So, today was all about a little Mom Solo Adventure.
I have some pretty significant personal memories invested into Big Spring International Park in Downtown Huntsville, so this will always be a VERY special place for me.
Memories of My Precious River Sivanne…
Feeding the fish and the ducks, enjoying the museums…
Strolling the canals.
So, I took my dragon for a walk through the park.
And what’s the first thing I find?
A rock with a river on it!
How freaking cool is that?
See, what also happened today…
This is the first time I discovered the Painted Rock Craze!
And that, too, was a life-changing event for me!
When I first saw the River Rock, I didn’t really know what it was, so I took a picture, but left it there.
Then I found another rock.
And another rock.
So, I started checking out the Facebook page listed on the back of the rocks, and realized you can actually keep the rock or rehide it somewhere else!
Wow! I’m addicted to rocks as it is, but these things are painted, and make for a super fun hide-and-seek game for kids and adults alike!
I kept the rocks I found today, and gifted them to the kids when I got home.
I went back to get the River Rock, but someone else had already found it in the meantime.
There’s just something about a River.
That I’m just not meant to keep.
Rivers flow.
But, they’ll stay in your heart forever.
Forever and always,
My love for you.
My Baby Girl,
River Sivanne.
